La ruta de 433 kil\u00f3metros es uno de los mayores proyectos de infraestructuras del pa\u00eds y reduce significativamente el tiempo de viaje entre el norte y el sur de Kirguist\u00e1n de unas 13 horas a aproximadamente<strong> 6 horas<\/strong> en condiciones normales. La autopista incluye importantes obras de ingenier\u00eda, como el t\u00fanel Kok-Art, el t\u00fanel de carretera m\u00e1s largo del pa\u00eds.  <br><br>Actualmente, la carretera s\u00f3lo est\u00e1 abierta durante los meses de verano y oto\u00f1o mientras contin\u00faan las obras, y se espera que funcione todo el a\u00f1o en 2028, una vez terminadas las estructuras de protecci\u00f3n adicionales, como galer\u00edas y puentes contra aludes. A pesar de la apertura, las autoridades recomiendan precauci\u00f3n, ya que algunos tramos de monta\u00f1a -sobre todo en torno a Kazarman- a\u00fan pueden verse afectados por desprendimientos de rocas e interrupciones relacionadas con el tiempo.
