Il percorso di 433 chilometri \u00e8 uno dei pi\u00f9 grandi progetti infrastrutturali del Paese e riduce notevolmente il tempo di percorrenza tra il nord e il sud del Kirghizistan, passando da circa 13 ore a circa 6 ore in condizioni normali. L\u2019autostrada comprende importanti opere ingegneristiche come il tunnel di Kok-Art, il tunnel stradale pi\u00f9 lungo del Paese, oltre a paesaggi mozzafiato e ponti spettacolari.  <br><br>Al momento la strada \u00e8 aperta solo nei mesi estivi e autunnali, mentre i lavori proseguono; si prevede che sar\u00e0 pienamente operativa tutto l\u2019anno entro il 2028, una volta completate ulteriori strutture di protezione come gallerie antivalanghe e ponti.
