Arrive in Dushanbe and set off on a tour of the capital of Tajikistan. Begin at the Museum of Antiquities, which holds an excellent archaeological collection of the region, followed by a visit to a vibrant and colorful local bazaar. After lunch, travel along the Zerafshan River to Artuch at 2,200 meters above sea level. Overnight in the cottages of the alpine camp in Artuch.

After breakfast, set off on a hike over the pass between Artuch and Kulikalon to the Kulikalon Lakes, famous for their sparkling, multicolored reflections.
