Recent changes in Turkmenistan’s migration service regulations aim to simplify and flexibility for travelers. Significant updates include an extended application window for the Letter of Invitation (LOI), the introduction of a two-entry visa option, and faster, more reliable processing.

LOI Applications Now Accepted 6 Months in Advance
Travelers can now apply for the LOI up to 6 months before their planned travel date which double the previous limit of 3 months. Visitors now have more room and time to organize their paperwork.

New Two-Entry Visa Option Available
Tourists are now eligible to apply for a two-entry visa, provided that both entries occur within a one-month period. This new option is ideal for travelers with multi-leg trips or regional itineraries.

Faster Processing Times & Lower Rejection Rates: standard processing: 10–14 working days and Express processing: 3–7 working days. 

Lastly, the visa rejection rate has decreased significantly, making the application process more reliable than in previous years.
