Ala Archa cable car

First phase of Ala Archa cable car has been opened

The new 1-kilometer cable car in Ala-Archa National Park was officially opened on February 18, 2026, but the associated 3-story, five star eco-hotel with pool and A-frame cabins are currently still under construction and have not yet opened. The cable car currently serves as a visitor attraction for panoramic views rather than for direct hotel transport.

The 16 cabin cable car already be used to shorten the trip to the path towards the Ak Sai waterfall, Ratchek hut and the Ala Archa glacier and glacial lake. The cable car will currently take visitors from the elevation of 2166 m until 2494 m. The cost of the ride is 600 soms (about 6€) for adults and 400 soms for children.
