Pamiri Culture

The yearly music festival in Khorog draws in throngs of ethnic music aficionados from far and wide. Held once a year in the Pamir, this festival serves as a melting pot of musical talent, featuring artists from Afghanistan, Germany, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, the USA, and Uzbekistan. Attendees are afforded the chance to engage in cultural exchange and dive deep into the musical tapestry of diverse nations. 

The festival brings together artists, musicians, and performers from across the Pamir region, Central Asia, and beyond. It is a showcase of diverse cultures, offering traditional music, dance, and theatrical performances. Folk musicians from different countries perform on stage, blending ancient melodies with modern influences, creating a captivating atmosphere.


Pilaf Festival

This festival, held in Dushanbe, is renowned for its delectable and filling offerings. While the city sleeps, the park comes alive with glowing lights as chefs meticulously prepare the ingredients before diving into the art of crafting pilaf. 

The park opens its gates at seven in the morning, welcoming chefs from across the republic. Pilaf enthusiasts can partake in various competitions, adding to the festival’s vibrant atmosphere.
