Bazars in Osh have been removed and moved outside the city center

All the major bazars in Osh have been moved or are expecting to be moved outside the city center. The new centered location for the bazars is along the Bekmata Osmonov street, at the west side of the city.

Allegedly at least one of the reasons to move the central bazaar (Jayma bazar) was that it was hit by a river flood of the Ak Buura river. Other voices suspect that the real reason is the urge to develop the bazar areas for construction projects.
