Ala Too Skiing Resort building started in Issyk Kul

Ala Too Skiing Resort construction has started in Issyk Kul. The first stages of a project that has massive plans including more than 200 kilometers of ski slopes, numerous hiking trails, hotels, restaurants, a traditional ethno-village, ropeways, and so on, focus on the Jyrgalan area. In Jyrgalan, two lifts with the total length of four kilometers are currently being built and should be ready in 2026.

In the later phases, additional slopes and infrastructure will be developed in Ak-Bulak, and the project will be completed with further expansion in Boz-Uchuk and the full interconnection of the three mentioned areas. The project will increase the winter tourism opportunities in the eastern end of Issyk Kul and Karakol area.
