Experience the high-altitude serenity of Tulpar-Kul Lake, nestled at the base of the towering Lenin Peak, and immerse yourself in the traditional Kyrgyz lifestyle with overnight stays in authentic yurt camps.
Crossing into Uzbekistan, discover the rich heritage of the Silk Road as you tour Margilan’s famous silk factory, witness the intricate craftsmanship of Rishtan’s pottery workshops, and explore the palaces and bustling bazaars of Kokand. Each day brings a unique blend of natural wonders and cultural experiences, showcasing the vibrant landscapes, age-old traditions, and warm hospitality of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan.
KYRGYZSTAN TOUR ITINERARY
Welcome to the ancient city of Osh, known as the “southern capital” of Kyrgyzstan. Upon arrival and transfer to the hotel, take a brief rest before starting with a visit to the sacred Suleiman-Too mountain, offering panoramic views of the valley. Continue with a tour of the Suleiman-Too Museum, which features a unique collection of historical artifacts about Osh. Return to the hotel in the evening.

After breakfast, begin a full day of exploration with visits to the Papan Reservoir and the picturesque Laglan Canyons, with a picnic. Continue to the scenic Chiyirchik Pass, known for its stunning mountain panoramas, then proceed to Ayu-Tapan Gorge for a local lunch. Here, you may join a masterclass on traditional Kyrgyz felt rugs, “shyrdak,” accompanied by local folklore performances (available for an additional fee). End the day in the village of Sary-Tash with dinner and an overnight stay at a guesthouse to experience local culture.

Following an early breakfast, travel to the high-altitude Tulpar-Kul Lake. Begin a hike from here to the Achik-Tash Camp, offering impressive views of peaks and glaciers. Enjoy a packed lunch along the trek before returning to camp. Optionally, take in the Yak Show for a unique experience (additional fee). End the evening with dinner under the stars and an overnight stay in cozy yurts.

After breakfast and farewells at camp, start the return journey to Osh. Along the way, stop for lunch and visit the museum of Kurmanjan Datka, the “Queen of Alai,” a notable historical figure of the region. Arrive in Osh in the evening for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, cross into Uzbekistan and travel to Margilan, famed for its silk production. Tour the Margilan Silk Factory, with an option for a masterclass and showroom visit. Next, head to Rishtan to visit the “Koron” ceramics workshop. After lunch, continue to Kokand for a guided tour of Urda Palace, the Jami Mosque, the Dahmai Shahon mausoleum, and the local halva production center. Evening rest at the hotel.

After breakfast, travel to Ahsikent and explore the New Aksikent Museum Complex, where one of the largest mosques in the region is being built. Visit the open-air museum with artifacts unearthed during excavations of the ancient city, which was destroyed by an earthquake in 1620. Lunch included.

After breakfast, depart for Osh, crossing the border. Visit the central bazaar and enjoy a farewell lunch before concluding the tour.
