Later we drive into the mountains to the famous Jety-Oguz Gorge (“Seven Bulls”), named for its striking red sandstone cliffs. From the panoramic viewpoint we take in sweeping views of spruce forests, alpine meadows, and mountain rivers.
Our next stop is Bokonbaevo village, where local eagle hunters preserve the ancient tradition of falconry.
